Our action plan
The Society for Knowledge Economics is a collaborative industry organisation that brings together high profile individuals to jointly advance Australia’s position as a leading knowledge economy.
The Society proposes to do so by:
- Commissioning research in areas relevant to promoting and developing Australia as a leading knowledge economy
- Inviting contributions from leading practitioners across industry, academia and government
- Leveraging and building international affiliations with like-minded bodies and organisations around the world
- Promoting, developing and publishing guidelines, white papers and discussion papers using local and global expertise
- Running collaborative projects bringing together academics, practitioners, associations and policy makers through the SKE Industry Research and Partnering Program
- Running an annual conference to facilitate knowledge exchange in areas relevant to promoting and developing Australia as a leading knowledge economy
- Offering and organising workshops, forums and retreats to members of the Society and the public
- Publishing and providing relevant information and membership services through the Society’s website and newsletters
